How soon is now?

The eternal question is 'Are we there yet?' and for software always gets the answer RSN (real soon now). And whether one thinks the question is best asked by The Smiths or by Love Spit Love (the former due to common sense/love of the classics, the latter due to a love of The Craft or maybe the abridged theme to Charmed), the next question is How soon is now?

Thankfully, Kent Sharkey answers the question in regard to all of the special features on MSDN related to Whidbey Beta 2 --

Soon == Now();

It's all up there now. Cool!

How Soon is Now? will always be the Smiths. No doubt. Whibey beta 2 is close in my world now. Very cool. Working through each and every bit.

I would not disagree with the preference for The Smiths version versus the cover, but there is an entire crowd of people with no exposure to the original version, like those who never heard the original version of *You Really Got Me* or *Venus*. :-)

I actually like the Love Spit Love version as a cover, though Butler is no Morrissey....

The Whidbey Beta 2 material and samples are definitely very cool.
