It hearkens back to I don't think it's Sovereignty Day in Montenegro? and the somewhat amusing image from my Outlook calendar:
When I was looking at my upcoming week and look what I found in Outlook:
The difference?
Well, this is a day that Montenegro can get behind a bit more comfortably I guess. It is the same date as when they adopted the official flag (in 2004):
and probably more importantly the day from 1878 when the Congress of Berlin recognized Montenegro as the 27th independent state in the world (source:Wikipedia).
Just a more sensible day for them, all the way around.
Now it likely is not important in the scheme of world politics, but for what it is worth Sorting it all Out officially recognizes Montenegro as a fully independent country.
Enjoy the holiday, my Montenegrin readers! :-)
