A friend of mine was looking at the headphones on my head when she walked up to me.
She shook her head.
"You do realize what a dork you look like wearing those, don't you?" she asked.
"And how" I asked "is this different from the way I look without headphones?"
"Hmmm. I guess it isn't."
And people wonder why I want noise-canceling headphones? There is obviously lots of noise I have to cancel out!

My response to people talking about how nerdy I look when wearing my overty-large headphones tends to be silence, because I don't hear them, because I'm wearing my headphones.
