You know, if you read here regularly, that I am no stranger to making puns out of the word case.
But I never used the one that Mark Liberman mentioned on Language Log in his post Just in case.
Which is a little embarrassing as I actually knew about it.
I have a friend in England who mentioned it to me in email after they read this post of mine, and I recall thinking that might be interesting to work into a post at some point with a clever title with a pun attached to it, before I proceeded to forget about it entirely forget about it until I read Mark's post.
Damn. I need to keep better track of random things that occur to me throughout the day related to blog posts. :-)
